Falsifai Terms of Use
Effective 17 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Falsifai Pty Ltd (ACN 699 158 051, ABN 57 699 158 051) (“Falsifai”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account you accept them. Please read them — they are short on purpose, and section 4 matters more than most.
1. The service
Falsifai is an AI-powered decision-support service. You bring a problem or question; the service works to find the real problem underneath it, tests candidate answers, and returns the most defensible answer it can reach, together with its reasoning, its stated assumptions, and the limits of what it knows.
Falsifai is currently in early access (alpha). Features may change, be added, or be removed, and availability is not guaranteed. We will tell you about material changes.
2. Your account
You must be 18 years or older to use Falsifai. By creating an account you confirm that you are. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. One account per person; don’t share access.
3. Acceptable use
Use Falsifai lawfully and as intended. Do not: attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or probe the service’s underlying systems, models, or methods; use the service to harm others or break the law; submit content you have no right to submit; resell or provide the service to third parties; or interfere with the service’s operation or security. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
4. The nature of Falsifai’s outputs — read this section
Outputs are advisory. Falsifai produces tested theories with explicitly stated assumptions and limits — not facts, not guarantees, and not predictions. An output that has survived testing is the most defensible answer we could reach with the information available; it can still be wrong, and the service tells you where.
Outputs are not professional advice. Nothing Falsifai produces is legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice. If your decision needs a licensed professional, engage one.
You remain the decision-maker. Falsifai sharpens your thinking; it does not replace it. Decisions you make, and their consequences, are yours. You should not act on an output you cannot explain in your own words — the service is built to make sure you can.
Outputs are AI-generated. You are interacting with AI systems when you use Falsifai.
5. Your content and ours
You retain all rights to the inquiries you submit. You grant us a licence to process them solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You own the outputs generated for you and may use them freely. We retain all rights in the service itself — software, methods, design, and branding.
6. Plans, fees and billing
Plans. Falsifai offers a free Trial and paid subscription plans (currently Pro, Studio, and Enterprise). The features, inquiry allowances, and prices for each plan are shown on our pricing page and again at checkout before you pay. The Trial is free, needs no payment details, and includes a limited number of inquiries that do not renew.
Prices and tax. Prices are shown in US dollars. The price shown is the total amount payable — we are not currently registered for GST and do not add tax at checkout. If that changes, any applicable tax will be shown to you before you pay.
Billing and auto-renewal. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on the cycle you choose (monthly or annual). By subscribing, you authorise us to charge that plan’s fee to your payment method. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. For annual plans, we will email you a reminder before each renewal.
Credits and top-ups. Inquiries draw on credits. Your plan’s monthly inquiry allowance is provided as credits that refresh at the start of each monthly period; unused allowance credits do not carry over into the next period. Some plans let you buy additional inquiry credits. Purchased credits are drawn on only after the period’s allowance is used, do not expire at the end of a period, and remain available while your account is active. Credits are not separately refundable.
Interrupted inquiries. If an inquiry is interrupted before it completes — for example by a failure at one of our AI providers — you are charged only for the work actually performed before the interruption: the credits set aside for that inquiry are settled to the work done, and the unused remainder is returned to your balance. An inquiry that performed no billable work costs nothing.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal, reachable from your Plan and usage page. Cancelling stops all future charges. Your paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds. We do not give pro-rata or partial refunds for time left in a billing period, for either monthly or annual plans. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: where the service fails to meet a consumer guarantee you are entitled to a remedy (see section 7), and if something has gone wrong, contact support@falsifai.ai and we will put it right.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend your access to paid features until the payment is resolved. We will let you know so you can update your details.
Price changes. We may change plan prices. For an existing subscription we will give you at least 14 days’ notice by email before a change takes effect; the new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then if you don’t accept it.
Enterprise. Enterprise plans may be offered on separate written terms, including invoicing. Where those terms conflict with this section, they prevail for that plan.
Stripe issues a receipt for each payment.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where we are permitted to limit our liability, our liability for a failure of the service is limited, at our election, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply. Subject to the above, we are not liable for loss arising from decisions you make in reliance on an output (see section 4), for indirect or consequential loss, or for events outside our reasonable control. Our total aggregate liability is otherwise limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time via the “Delete my account” function. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable. If we terminate a paid account other than for your breach, we will refund any prepaid period not yet used. Sections 4, 5, and 7 survive termination.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give you at least 14 days’ notice by email, and your continued use after the effective date is acceptance. If you don’t accept, close your account before the change takes effect.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms plus the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement.
